BIND

Biologically Informative NA Deconvolution

BIND provides a unique biological perspective to analyzing missing values (NAs) in proteomics datasets. Instead of data imputation, BIND extracts the biological significance behind the missing values themselves. It contains 3 modules: NA statistics,NA classification, and NA-weighted protein co-expression analysis.
Framework

Modules
NA Statistic Logo
NA statistics
Systematic statistical analysis of NA patterns in the dataset. Including differences in missing values among different groups
NA Classification Logo
NA classification
NA is classified into "biological" and "technical", with "biological" NA representing those whose expression is below the detection limit or no expression. "Technical" NA represents those that are missing due to technical problems.
NA-weighted Protein Co-expression Analysis Logo
NA-weighted protein co-expression analysis
Missing value patterns were considered in Spearman correlation analysis to achieve more sensitive PPI identification
